Faces in the Museum
Older children & teens who require a quieter learning space

A quieter session which will look at different time periods through exploring the faces found on artefacts in the Museum.
It will include:
- A spotter trail to find faces found on objects throughout the galleries
- Chance to explore the Piper Art Exhibition to see faces on the ceramics
- Artefact handling
- Making a medieval style clay face with step-by-step instructions
- Painting face designs on ceramic plates
- Creating embossed foil jewellery inspired by Celtic designs
Afternoon session - 1.30 pm to 3 pm. We are also running the same theme on Wednesday 20 May where younger siblings are welcome.
£6.50 per child, one accompanying adult (per child) free. £3 for each additional adult(s) per child.
Ages: 9 to teens
Booking: essential - maximum 12 children per session. Please note: the system may show adult tickets still available, even though all the child tickets have sold)
Refreshments: we do not have an on-site cafe, but you are welcome to bring snacks.
