Stonehengathon with Julian Richards
Corn Exchange - The Market Place, Devizes, United Kingdom
Join us for Stonehengathon, Sunday 29th November, 9:30am - 4:30pm
In the first of its kind, archaeologist Julian Richards takes on the challenge to talk all things Stonehenge – all day!
Julian has been involved with Stonehenge and its amazing prehistoric landscape for 46 years. The author of the current English Heritage guidebook and the proud owner of an extensive collection of ‘Stonehengiana’ (previously exhibited at the Wiltshire Museum) – it’s safe to say, Julian loves talking about Stonehenge!
Fresh from his Access All Areas YouTube series, Julian now rejoices at the task of seeing how much of his knowledge he can fit into a six-hour Stonehenge live talk.
When asked how long he could talk about his favourite ancient monument, he suggested at least six hours, a timeframe his friends consider to be a gross underestimate.
There’s only one way to find out the answer - a Stonehengathon!
Sunday 29 November is your opportunity to find out the what, the how, the when and the why. And just how long Julian can really talk about Stonehenge.
The real task being, will he manage to finish on time?
